| Information about the Cactus Wren:The Cactus Wren is the largest North America Wren. It grows to 7-9 inches long. Like other birds in it's genus it has a slightly curved beak. The Cactus Wren feeds mainly on insects, including beetles, grasshoppers and wasps. Although it will sometimes feed on fruit. The Cactus Wren is commonly seen in the deserts of the American southwest and into northern Mexico, perched on cactus, yucca or ocotillo singing loudly.
