Artist's notes:
This
is another 're-do' of the dart frog variety. This is a favorite
of mine because I feel I really captured the quality and
texture of the skin. Both the line art version and the digital
tinting were completed in 2008.

Information about the Dyeing Poison
Dart Frog:
The Dyeing Poison Dart Frog inhabits small isolated pockets
in French Guinea and northeastern Brazil. They are bright
blue with two broad yellow stripes on the back. This is
a large poison dart frog reaching lengths of about two inches.
There is quite a bit of variation in size and color. Dendrobatids
are brightly colored, which serves to warn potential predators.
