Artist's notes:
 The
Leopard Gecko illustration is based on a photo by my friend
Pete Carmichael, who is the most talented nature photographer
I know. Leopard Geckos are such cool looking lizards. I
love seeing them at the reptile shows I attend. The different
morphs and colors are incredible!

Information about the Leopard Gecko:
Leopard Geckos can be found throughout Afghanistan, Iraq,
Iran also northwest India. The reptiles are nocturnal, sheltering
under rocks or in burrows in daylight. Their coloration
is usually yellow with irregular black spots and a white
underside. These geckos are about 7-10 inches long and weigh
about 4-5 ounces. Leopard Geckos make excellent pets.
