Artist's notes:

white tiger thumb This is a 're-do' from an earlier drawing. Tigers are a favorite subject of mine, and I've drawn them more than perhaps any single animal save for perhaps frogs or turtles. The White Tiger is such a stunningly beautiful animal I hope that this drawing at least captures a sense of that beauty.

Information about the White Tiger:

White Tigers are white colored Bengal Tigers, which is a subspecies of tiger located on the mainland of Southeastern Asia and India. They are not albinos. Tigers live in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, subtropical and tropical rainforests, scrub forests, deciduous forests and mangroves. Their size ranges from 8-10 feet and weigh between 400-590 pounds.
